Short study

Category study

A focused reading of one buying family — fuel, medicines, construction materials, catering, IT hardware — instead of the whole ledger.

One to two weeks · Remote file review with a briefing in Georgia · From 2,200 GEL, or a day rate for a narrow slice

Colour-coded notes arranged on a table during planning

Some organisations already know which shelf is the noisy one. A hospital may want medicines and reagents, not the entire estate. A city hall may want winter road salt and hired machinery. A category study opens that family only.

We still need the invoices that belong to the category, plus the contracts and frameworks that were supposed to cover it. The return is a short map, a note on price spread and supplier mix, and a single briefing. It does not replace a full spend review when nobody yet knows where the money sits.

Preparation is lighter: a filtered export or a month of sample lines so we can see whether the category is even labelled consistently. If it is not, part of the fee is spent simply finding the lines.

Quoted from 2,200 GEL excluding VAT. Very narrow questions — “are these three fuel cards the same pump network?” — can be taken on a day rate of 650 GEL.
